My Horde characters are entering their second day on Stormscale, and so far I've avoided the server, opting instead to play my Alliance character on Executus. All my little draenei hunter has to do really, is do Battlegrounds for badges, so she can cruise around Outland in style on a Black War Tiger. So, I should probably consider paying some guy to inject ecstasy into my spine constantly while I'm in Warsong Gulch, 'cuz that's the only way I'm gonna be able to get through that torture. x_x
When I'm not frolicking in Battlegrounds with the retarded crack-babies of the Alliance, I'm usually chilling out with my new alt, Keltae, a female tauren druid who's now nice and cozy on Stormscale, nearing her 10th level and bear form. As with most of my characters, she also has a backstory in the works. In her case, she's totally blind, and has a little black hawk owl named Night with her, acting as her eyes. Despite the fact that her other senses are near super-human (or would that be super-cow?), having a sharp-eyed companion is still very handy.
I decided to draw a picture of Keltae. Tauren women are very, very hard to draw, and this is only my second attempt at it. It's also my first attempt at foreshortening, which is why her left arm looks a bit...off. I got lazy around the time I had to start working on the background, so I just took a screenshot of Mulgore and slapped it on there. Overall, I'm proud of the way it came out. ^_^
And on an entirely unrelated note, I have yet another Youtube video to show you. This time it's in english though. :O *GASP*! The universe is going to end, so, you should probably start hiding under your desks.
Anyway, here's another Monster Hunter video. The music goes so-so with the action on screen, and the quality of video isn't all that great, but the song, I think, is good, and worth listening to if nothing else. ^_^ Full credit for the video goes to the original creator.
My second day as a blogger, and I almost forgot to post. Go me! x_x
I recently transferred my two main WoW characters off Scilla and onto Stormscale. As far as the random ganking goes (especially on Quel'Danas Isle), nothing has really changed, for better or worse. I got to start off my day on the new server with my big ol' tauren warrior getting her ass beat by a gnome rogue named "Goodburger". He's gonna have to get used to looking over his shoulder from now on though, as he's made my hit-list. IMO, people who gank during dailies for fun are some of the worst kinds of people.
The ganking aside, Stormscale is so far turning out to be a lot better than Scilla on the PvE front. My boyfriend got his warlock into a good heroic dungeon group in a few minutes time, which is definitely promising, and more than could be said for Scilla groups. The economy on Stormscale is also quite good, albeit a bit pricier. But the wider selection of items makes up for it. :3
For the first time today, I did all of the dailies that the Isle of Quel'Danas had to offer, excluding the few that have you leave the island, as a tank. Oh sweet juicy Jesus I never wanna have to do that alone again. As a tank, my damage output isn't exactly high, so poor Rynja would stand there, hacking away at a monster, then Ganky McGankerson would show up and kick her tail into next week...then steal the kill. Bastards. But it'll all be worth it in the long run when I get my sexy shield, necklace, and tabard. Fancy!
My blood elf rogue, Roguekitty, wasn't able to make much use of anything other than the tabard and pricey 1,000g title, but the latter was totally worth it. Now I feel big and important (despite being a tiny little blood elf), strutting around with Roguekitty of the Shattered Sun over my head in big bold letters.
Steering away from WoW, I took a look at the banner I have over my blog, and decided I'm not all that satisfied with it, and starting tonight or tomorrow, I'll begin the work of re-drawing it. I want to make the background transparent instead of white, and change the color of the letters. The black letters don't show up so well with dark-furred Roguekitty leaning on 'em. >_<
And now for something completely different: while surfing around on Youtube, I stumble across this funny little Monster Hunter video, made by a Japanese player, who I swear must've been high or something while filming this. Fun to watch, and with an annoyingly catchy song to boot! Full credit of course goes to the creator of the video.
My mom does it - my dad does it - my little sister does it - I finally gave in to the temptation and started a blog of my own. All that delicious peer pressure aside, I really do think that this'll be good for me in the long run. I doubt I'll update this blog daily, but it should hopefully serve to keep my creative gears a-turnin'. With each post I'll try and include a little picture of some sort (today, that'll be my new avatar), and the writing will keep me from becoming rusty in that department as well.
Expect to come here and find news of video games...lots and lots of video games. Primarily World of Warcraft, Monster Hunter, and Pokemon. Perhaps a little dash of my progress in writing, drawing and machinima-making as well. ^_^
I don't really have much to blog about, so I'll just show you a randomly cute video and be on my way.
Blood Elf women need this dance animation. No, seriously. WTB less MTV bullshit and more random anime dances. :D
